RESEARCH PAPERS

Research papers should describe original and significant work in the research and practice of software maintenance. They should be 2000 - 5000 words in length, in English. Submit them in PDF, PostScript, Word, or RTF form electronically by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).


Industry Day Proposals: Propose a Track, tell the audience how your organization performs software maintenance and handles software decay.

Submit proposals in postscript, Word 97, or rtf form via email to George Stark by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).


EXPERIENCE SHORT PAPERS and WORKSHOP PAPERS

Experience short papers and Workshop papers should present new observations, provocative ideas, and early results in brief or viewgraph form. Submit them via email to Jeff Voas by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).


PANELS

Panel discussions should stimulate audience involvement and genuine debate about ideas of importance to maintainers of existing or new systems. Submit panel proposals via email to Lionel Briand by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).


TUTORIALS

Tutorials should present software maintenance topics of interest to practitioners. Tutorials may be full-day or half-day in length. Submit tutorial proposals via email to Shawn Bohner by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).


TOOLS EXHIBITION

In the Tools Exhibition vendors or researchers may exhibit tools, publications, and related products to help attendees apply software maintenance techniques and technologies. Tools Exhibition proposals should include a 1 to 2 page description of the items to be exhibited, space required, hardware platform required, and any other exhibition requirements. Submit them via email to William Farr by 1 February 2000 (extended to 15 February 2000).
