Call for Papers and Workshop proposals Location: Lund University,

Conference and WorkshopsECBS’02 will be the 9th IEEE sponsored meeting dedicated to formulating and advancing processes, models and tools for the engineering of computer-based systems. This increasingly important discipline is devoted systems engineering issues related to fielding systems whose behavior is largely determined or controlled by computers. Computer-based systems are characterized by functional, performance and reliability requirements that mandate the tight integration of information processing and physical processes.
Scope
The ConferenceThe Conference provides a forum for presentation of matureresearch and case-study results including keynote talks and panel discussions. Conference papers are fully refereed and will appear in the conference proceedings. The WorkshopsThe Workshops provide a forum for focused meetings dealingwith various areas of ECBS research. Paper SubmissionFull papers for the main conference (4000-6000 words) andworkshop proposals (1 page) must be received by October 29, 2001 at ecbs02@telecom.lth.se. Papers can be submitted in pdf, MS Word or EPS format. Specific instruction are available at the conference website. Papers will be reviewed and authors notified by December 17, 2001. The VenueLund, a city founded in the middle ages, is located in southern Sweden, 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport over the recently opened Öresund bridge between Sweden and Denmark. Lund University, funded 1666 has 34 000 students in seven faculties. The city of Lund as well as the neighbor cities Malmö and Copenhagen are well worth a visit. |
